Posted Date: 02/26/26 (10:27 AM)

Clallam Bay School is proud to unveil its 2026 Secondary Strategic Plan, a roadmap designed to transform our school into a high-integrity, career-focused hub. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we are mastering the innovative models we’ve pioneered to ensure our students have the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Shaping the Student Experience:
- Career Pathways in Action: We are tailoring education to student interests, offering specialized tracks in Public Service, Creative Arts, Architecture & Construction, Business & Finance, and Trades.
- Real-World Experience: Students will be able to earn school credits through Paid Work Credits, connecting classroom learning with real-world professional responsibilities.
- Flexible Learning (HyFlex & ALE): We are formulizing an Alternative Learning Experiences (ALE) program and researching different HyFlex schedules, allowing students to learn in-person, at home, or in the community with flexible pacing.
- CTE & Industry Credentials: Our focus on Career Technical Education (CTE) allows students to earn graduation credits while gaining hands-on skills and state-approved Industry Credentials (IRC).
Driven by Student Voice
This plan was built by listening to our students. Based on their feedback, we are introducing more rigor, greater autonomy, and diverse curricular options—such as Game Design, Animation, and Law & Public Safety—to ensure they aren't just surviving high school, but thriving in it.Our Commitment to Stability
Every fiscal and facility decision is tied directly to instructional goals, ensuring educational equity for our rural students while maintaining high-impact roles for our dedicated staff. By investing in this plan, we are keeping our students learning locally and reinforcing our commitment to community stability.Explore the future of Clallam Bay School: Secondary Strategic Plan Presentation
