Technology Services
Cape Flattery has an ambitious technology plan focused on the use of technology from early grade levels.
We are a 1:1 schools district, where every student has their own Chromebook for use at school. We recognize the need for up-to-date technology and what it can offer to students and staff. Our district utilizes Google Workspace for Education, as parents/guardians you can opt your child out of using Google Workspace by completing the Google Workspace Opt-Out Form. It is important to note that opting your child out of Google Workspace will mean they do not receive a district Chromebook and will not be able to access our online/digital platforms.
You can also expect to see the following in classrooms:
- A Document Camera
- Computers: Desktops, laptops and Chromebooks
- Speakers
- Smart Screens
- Student Chromebooks
The district has access to K-20 Video conferencing at each school and at the District Office. This technology allows staff to participate in training held throughout the state and even the nation, without the cost and time for travel.
